Meet the Artist Series - Sundays, 12:30pm to 2pm. Demos, discussions, readings. Drop in!

June 28th: Author Dr. Margaret Brisco will read from and discuss her new collection of short stories, titled "Metamorphoses." Dr. Brisco practiced obstetrics and gynecology in northern New Jersey for 35 years and was a pioneer at a time when few women became physicians. Her first book, "Women in Transition" won the 2005 New Jersey Notable Book Award.

July 12th: Meet artist Jane Lux. Jane teaches watercolor classes in which the emphasis is on creativity and spontaneity, and conducts workshops throughout the metropolitan area.

July 19th: Meet artist Nancy Tuttle. Nancy teaches art, literature and humanities to high school seniors during the school year and devotes each summer to her watercolor painting.

July 26th: Meet artist Beverly Golembeski. This popular artist from Seaside Park has been teaching art for many years. Her paintings hang in many shore homes, and her work is sold throughout the country. She has had several one woman shows and her paintings have won numerous awards.

August 9th: Meet oil painter Mary Jo Austin. Past President of the Ocean County Artist's Guild, Mary Jo teaches a variety of classes through the Guild, specializing in oil painting en plein air.

August 16th: As a follow up to her August 15th Children's Workshop, acrylic artist Tine Kirkland Graham will be at the gallery to discuss her work and meet those interested in her pet portraits and whimsical books.

August 23rd: Popular Oil Painter Al Barker will be at the gallery to do a demo and meet up with friends and fans. Don't miss this chance to see Al at work!

August 30th: Meet Artist Wendy McCarthy. If you missed her show, Wendy will be on hand to unveil her latest painting and talk about her new ideas for her fantastic mermaid series.

June 27 – July 9: 19th Annual Watercolor Show - vote for your favorite painting - awards given to the artists! Opening reception: June 27th, 6 to 8pm.

July 11th: Book Signing with Karen Schnitzspahn, Author of "The Roaring 20s at the Jersey Shore" and Children's Book Illustrator Margie Moore, 5 to 8pm. The original watercolor illustrations of Margie Moore will be on display through July 15th.

July 17-23: "MerMoments II" Mermaid series by Wendy McCarthy. Opening reception July 18th, 6pm to 8pm.

July 24 - July 30th: "Tubes, Towels, and Turbans" by Carol Magnatta. Opening reception July 25th 6pm to 8pm.

July 31- August 6: 5th Annual Oil and Acrylic Painting show - vote for your favorite painting - awards given to the artists! Opening reception, July 31st, 6 to 8pm.

August 7-14: New Paintings by Andrew Huntley-Robertson. Opening reception August 8th, 6pm to 8pm.
