Robert E. Moen, a lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore, is a minister
at a small congregation near Farmingdale, NJ, in addition to having
pursued a career in the communications industry, which has spanned over
a quarter of a century.
Having bought his first 35mm SLR in 1994 (used, of course), he has
since
accumulated a sizeable library of colour transparencies depicting the
beauty of the natural world in all of its aspects, as well as a modest
collection of fine art black and white photographs, which he prints
himself. He also now shoots in all formats, as is appropriate for each
subject.
Several of his Black and White and Colour prints have won competitions,
appeared in international publications, and have been displayed in
small
galleries on the Jersey Shore. He is particularly proud of the
photographic contributions he has been privileged to provide for use by
nature preservation organizations, such as The Nature Conservancy and
the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance. His work is displayed regularly
at the Anchor & Palette Gallery.
