Nancy Tuttle has been drawing and painting pictures of the Jersey Shore
since she received a BFA degree from the School of Visual Arts in 1981.
She was raised in Avon and Normandy Beach, and images of rowboats in
the
bay and umbrellas against the ocean remain in her heart and soul. "I
paint pictures of the shore because I am so in love with the sights,
the
sounds, the smells of the Jersey Shore." Nancy teaches art, literature
and humanities to high school seniors during the school year and
devotes
each summer to searching out those rowboats and umbrellas that make her
heart swell! She paints in watercolor, and her originals and giclée
prints are available at the Anchor & Palette Gallery.
