St. Paul's UMC is pleased to welcome local artists with
their original paintings, drawings, prints and hand-made crafts to the
Art Show, Sale and Boutique to be held on Saturday, July 24th, in front
of the church. Artists including Ann Hayes, Ted Ricchiuti, Janice
Collinson, Paula Kolojeski, Pauline Mickle, and Sheila Mickle, are just
a few who will be outside under their tents on the church lawn. And be
sure and bring your children! We have a great activity booth for the
kids - with games, prizes, and face painting.
Inside will be crafters with hand-made items, a Silent Auction to raise funds for the missions of the church, and the United Methodist Women's Boutique. Hand-made doll clothes and furniture, afghans, baby clothes, Christmas shell ornaments, stuffed animals, aprons, quilts and specialty items will be for sale. The Boutique Committee works all year on various projects, including making lap blankets for the soldiers at Bethesda Naval Hospital and Walter Reade Hospital in Washington, DC. The proceeds from the Boutique sales help finance materials and other mission work of St. Paul's.
There will be musical entertainment at the Art Show. Local restaurants within walking distance to the church will be open for lunch. So stop by on your way to the beach (three blocks away!) or to the local shops in Bay Head and support a worthwhile cause! The show will be held from 10am to 4pm. There is no Rain Date for this event. Proceeds from all activities go to the missions and general funds of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and to finance St. Paul's Christmas event, A Night in Bethlehem, which will be held on Sunday, December 5th from 3pm to 6pm. Click here for information about St. Paul's missions. St. Paul's United Methodist Church is located in the Jersey Shore town of Bay Head, just three blocks from the beach. Come for the day, or stay at one of Bay Head's famous B&B's for several days and enjoy the Antiques Show, the beach and shopping at the wonderful shops and galleries in town. For a complete list of activities in Bay Head, see their calendar of events.
